StoreTwin and Syncio, compared
Syncio is the established app in this category and a reasonable choice for a lot of stores. It does things StoreTwin does not, and the honest comparison is about which of those things you need. Every figure below was taken from Syncio's own pricing page and App Store listing on 6 August 2026 - check them before you decide, because prices move.
What Syncio covers that StoreTwin does not
Order forwarding back to the source store, payouts with commission and revenue splits, a marketplace for finding stores to sell for, and WooCommerce alongside Shopify. If you run a wholesale or consignment arrangement where orders and money have to travel between businesses, that is their product and not ours.
StoreTwin syncs a catalogue between stores that belong to the same merchant. It never reads orders or customers at all: those permissions are not requested at install.
What StoreTwin adds
The audit. Every hour StoreTwin re-checks what changed, and every night it compares the complete catalogue of both stores field by field, then reports each difference by product and field with both values. When syncing is on it repairs the difference and the next check reports that the stores match.
The practical shape of that difference shows in support: Syncio's own help article on incorrect inventory numbers tells the merchant to "contact support to manually resync the entire inventory to the new location quantity". With StoreTwin, finding and repairing that class of drift is what the app does on its own schedule.
Pricing, side by side
Syncio prices the receiving store by product count: free up to 25, $19/mo for 26-100, $29/mo up to 500, $39/mo up to 1,000, $69/mo up to 3,000, $99/mo up to 5,000, $129/mo up to 10,000. The sending store pays separately by the number of orders with synced products, from free up to $99/mo.
Several things are add-ons on top of that: Product Settings at $19/mo to sync titles, images, price, variants and tags; Order Sync at $22/mo; Payouts at $9/mo; metafields at $9/mo for ten definitions or $29/mo for unlimited.
StoreTwin has three plans and no add-ons: Free Audit at $0 (audit of any catalogue size, 25 products actually synced), Standard at $29/mo up to 1,000 synced products, Pro at $49/mo with no product limit. Product fields and your own metafields are included on every plan, including the free one, and the sending store is always free.
A worked example, at their published prices: a receiving store with 1,000 products that wants product fields and ten metafield definitions pays $39 + $19 + $9 = $67/mo with Syncio, plus whatever the sending store's order band costs. The same store is $29/mo with StoreTwin.
Choosing between them
Take Syncio if you need orders, payouts, a marketplace or WooCommerce. Those are real products with real work behind them, and we do not pretend to have them.
Take StoreTwin if what you need is a catalogue that stays identical and a way to prove it: one price per receiving store, every field included, and a report that names each difference instead of a status light.
