Plans differ by one number: how many products you sync. Everything else is the same on every paid plan - real-time sync, the hourly check of what changed and the full daily audit, every field the app syncs and your own metafields, sync operations that are never metered or billed, and the checking-only mode a new connection starts in.

On extreme catalogues the full daily compare can stop running; the app says so on the connection page. Catalogue size never limits syncing itself. A burst of mass edits - sixty writes or more in a minute to one store - is spaced out rather than dropped: writing pauses for a minute and resumes on its own, and through a long busy stretch the pause repeats and grows, up to an hour, clearing once the store goes quiet. Nothing is pressed, and the checks keep running the whole time.
Every plan can sync the whole matched catalogue or only the products you pick, by hand or by collection and tag. Your tier counts what is actually synced: a thousand matched products with a hundred picked is a hundred synced products.
The receiving store holds the plan; source stores are always free. Connections are unlimited on every plan, including the free one - feeding one store from three sources costs exactly the same as one pair. The only number that decides your tier is how many products are synced.
One price per store, not two plans plus add-ons
The usual way to price store sync is a plan on the destination store, a second plan on the source store, and then add-ons for metafields, for images, for inventory. A pair of stores ends up assembled from four or five line items, and the bill grows with your orders.
StoreTwin charges once, on the receiving store, however many sources feed it. Fields, metafields, images, inventory and the audits are not sold separately, because holding them back would make the sync less correct - and correctness is the entire point of this app. Your price also never rises: whatever you subscribe at is what you keep paying.
What happens if you outgrow a plan
Nothing breaks. Products already syncing keep syncing - outgrowing a plan is never a reason to stop them. New products simply stop being added to the sync, and you get a message on the connection page and by email explaining exactly that.
Why the free plan is generous
The free plan audits your whole catalogue, including one that a different sync app is maintaining. That is deliberate: the honest way to show that our audit is worth paying for is to let it find real drift in the setup you already have.
The one ceiling worth knowing, and it is not a plan limit: a full comparison holds both catalogues at once, so a very large catalogue - hundreds of thousands of products, or a large one with long descriptions - can be too big to compare in a single pass. When that happens the connection says so in plain words instead of quietly checking part of it, we are told at the same time, and the hourly checks keep running. The ceiling is identical on the free plan and on Pro: it is our engine, not your tier.
