Terms of service

Last updated 5 August 2026

The service

StoreTwin synchronizes products and inventory one way, from a source store you designate to destination stores you connect. The app also audits linked products on a schedule and reports differences. You remain the owner of your data; we act only on your instructions expressed through the app's settings.

What the app will and will not do

Writes are performed only after you activate a connection, and only for the fields the app manages. The app never deletes products, variants, images or metafields in your destination store: anything extra of that kind is reported, not removed. Tags are the one field written as a complete set: a tag that exists only in the destination store is replaced when the app repairs that product. Price is not synced: it is set once when a product is first created in the receiving store and never updated afterwards.

Billing

Plans are billed through Shopify's billing system and shown in the app before you approve them. You can cancel any time from the app or by uninstalling; billing then stops per Shopify's billing rules.

Your responsibilities

Keep access to your stores secure, review what the first check found before activating a sync, and configure location mapping that matches how you actually stock inventory. The audit report exists so that you can verify the sync - please read it.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time by uninstalling the app; your stored data is then erased as described in the privacy policy. We may suspend or terminate service for abuse, non-payment or violation of these terms, with notice where practicable.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the date they take effect, and material changes are also written to you at your store's contact address. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
