StoreTwin affiliate terms

These terms apply to everyone who earns commission for referring StoreTwin, on any affiliate platform we use, and to any sub-affiliate or agency acting on their behalf.

Commission

25% of the recurring subscription revenue from merchants you refer, for the lifetime of the referral. Source stores are always free, so commission is earned on the paying store only. Trials pay nothing until they convert to a paid subscription.

A referral is attributed by the install that follows your link, so a client with several destination stores earns commission on each one. If the same store arrives through two affiliates, the referral that produced the install wins.

How you may promote StoreTwin

  1. No cold email. Do not send unsolicited email of any kind to promote StoreTwin - not to merchants, not to lists you purchased, rented or scraped, and not to contacts obtained through Shopify. Promote through channels people opted into: your own audience, your site, your community, your clients.
  2. Do not present yourself as us. Do not act as StoreTwin, Steadyware, or a member of our team, and do not register domains, social handles or ad accounts that suggest you are the vendor.
  3. No brand-term bidding. Do not bid on "StoreTwin" or close variants in paid search, and do not build coupon or discount-code pages that intercept merchants already searching for us.
  4. No claims we do not make. Do not state or imply anything about the product that is not on this site or our App Store listing - including ratings, review counts, guarantees, or comparisons with named competitors.
  5. Disclose the relationship wherever you promote us, as the FTC endorsement guidelines require.

If the rules are broken

Breaking these rules means removal from the programme and forfeiture of unpaid commission, including commission already accrued on referrals obtained that way. We may also report the activity to the platform where it happened.

We say this plainly because the exposure is real: a single unsolicited campaign can cost us the Shopify partner account that both of our apps depend on.
